The Foundation carries out examinations and attributions of works, which are credited to Stepan Erzia. It also works on creating a catalogue of originals and identifying their falsifications. Due to cooperation with museums, research institutes and centers, academies of arts and reputable auction houses, the Foundation has obtained the status of an expert organization. The Erzia International Art Foundation together with its Russian and foreign partners has carried out more over 10 examinations and scientific attributions.
The examinations of the Erzia sculptures (drawings, pictures) are based on the Evidence from the Federal service for intellectual property, patents and trademarks of the Russian Federation № 405852 from 09.04.2010 (pp. 36, 42).
The acts of examinations are based on stylistic and technological activities, including art expertise based on the comparison and study of the standard works, search and examination of the special literature, microscopic and other special studies.
