November 24, 2019 is the 60th anniversary of the death of the great sculptor Stepan Dmitrievich Nefedov (Erzia) (1876-1959).
Erzia International Art Foundation invites everyone to honor the memory of the great sculptor and say kind words about him. The meeting will take place in Moscow near Sokol metro station, Erzia’s House (2nd Peschanaya street, 3). The sculptor’s workshop was located here. Stepan Erzia spent his last years in this house in Moscow.
Foundation staff, foundation partners, friends, neighbors and admirers of the sculptor’s talent took part in a commemorative meeting. Everyone could say words of memory for the great sculptor.
As a tradition flowers were laid at the memorial plate and people keep a minute of silence for the great sculptor memory.
